This is a great, chunky yet lightweight tortoise shell chain necklace handmade from the finest quality Italian cellulose acetate. Classic but always in style - a chic wardrobe staple!

I am the third generation of my family that makes jewelry and accessories out of Italian cellulose acetate, and about 15 years ago my family and I had these three bakelite inspired colors custom made in Italy so we can produce some updated and affordable jewelry out of these gorgeous, bold colors that so many people love and collect. With the small stash of chain I have left, I created these pullover style chain necklaces by combining them with classic tortoiseshell.

These chains were made with the utmost attention to detail. Each link has been die cut, then cut and linked together and sealed (seamlessly) so they won't ever break apart from each other. 

All of our jewelry is made from Italian acetate-a light-weight vegan plastic. Please remember when purchasing our jewelry that Acetate is material that will not break or chip easily like other plastics and horn jewelry out on the market. This is a plastic made for the optical industry, so it was created for durability and comfort.
