Chunky Lucite Chain Horn and Ivory Resin Link Chain Handmade from Vintage Italian Cellulose Acetate
$66.00
Description
This is a great, short and simple chunky chain that we have been selling well for years. It is 21" long and looks great over a high necked shirt or a button down collared shirt.
We like to call this pattern Pralines and Cream, is part of our stash of vintage Cellulose Acetate that has been with our family for years. Made in Italy. It is very high quality, and they don't make rich prints as beautiful as this anymore. The pattern is super rich with all deep burnt umber hues mixed with swirls of creams and toffees. It's has an organic feel to it, but it's bolder than a neutral.
Each link is about 1.5" x 1 3/4" big. Each link has been die cut, then cut and linked together and sealed (seamlessly) so they won't ever break apart from each other. We hand-make all of our jewelry in NYC. Please check out our about page for more info about our process.
The clasp is base metal with a 14k gold plate and very easy to open and close making the necklace easy to get on and off.
All of our jewelry is made from Italian acetate-a light-weight vegan plastic. Please remember when purchasing our jewelry that Acetate is material that will not break or chip easily like other plastics and horn jewelry out on the market. This is a plastic made for the optical industry, so it was created for durability and comfort. All of our pieces will be with you for years, and most of our designs are simple, classic shapes that will indeed always be relevant in your wardrobe. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
