This choker has a handmade thick blonde tortoise shell oval at the center, strung onto a heavy silver chain-very trendy at the moment, but also very classic and minimal in design-it will last for years in your wardrobe. The tortoise necklace was repurposed from a stash of vintage cellulose acetate link for trim made by my family. The chain is 17.5" long.
All of my jewelry is handmade in NYC from Italian cellulose acetate-a light-weight plant based plastic. Please remember when purchasing our jewelry that Acetate is material that will not break or chip easily like other plastics and horn jewelry out on the market. This is a plastic made for the optical industry, so it was created for durability and comfort. All of our pieces will be with you for years, and most of our designs are simple, classic shapes that will indeed always be relevant in your wardrobe. Wipe clean with a soft cloth.
